An Orchard Oriole


With my love of earth tones, this rusty-colored bird really popped out at me when I visited the Land Valley Trust. At first, I wondered if it was just a really striking sort of robin, but I found out it is one of the many varieties of orchard orioles. 


All of the birding hotspots have been so good about putting out oranges and other popular snacks for the migrating birds... 



And they seem to be very appreciative!
